DeSean Jackson expected to miss two weeks with abdominal injury

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson is expected to miss two weeks because of an abdominal strain, ESPN reported on Tuesday.
Jackson opted against the recommendation of operation, which would have kept him on the sidelines for about six months of a single doctor, according to the report.
The Jackson was injured at the Atlanta Falcons in the first half of Sunday’s loss.
He did not make a grab in that match later snagging eight passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1 in the Eagles’ victory over the Washington Redskins.
The Eagles brought back Jackson via exchange.
A second-round select by Philadelphia in 2008, Jackson spent six years with the Eagles (2008-13), catching 356 passes for 6,117 yards and 32 touchdowns in 87 games.
Philadelphia wide receiver Alshon Jeffery may also miss Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions after leaving last week’s game with a calf injury.
