Gareth Southgate says England united on racism for European Qualifiers

England director Gareth Southgate claims his squad is100 percent united in just how they would react to racism within their forthcoming European Qualifiers.
The England team have agreed if any of their players are subjected to racist abuse, together with Mondays trip to Bulgaria under intense scrutiny, they will jointly abandon a game.
Southgate held a team meeting before this week to talk about what action should be taken and it is understood the squad will follow UEFA routine, which includes issuing warnings prior to a game is called off.
Southgate insists the Chelsea striker is not in debate with the rest of the squad although tammy Abraham has suggested he would be ready to walk off the pitch ahead of the three-step protocol has been finished.
What we will experience as a group during the next few days are a huge number of queries and anyone that gets one minor nuance thats adrift of their general feeling of what has been discussed as a team is going to be flagged as a potential disagreement, said Southgate, prior to Fridays match against Czech Republic.
That is absolutely not true, everybody is extremely clear. I conscience, my players are being placed in situations each time.
You feel that one phrase from place or a single wrong phrasing results in potential issues that can be flagged towards another team, made to earn a story towards another group or possibly made to seem like theres a separation or a disagreement in our camp.
Were 100 percent united how we see things.
Raheem Sterling was among numerous England players who were exposed to racist abuse this year.
The Manchester City admits he was unaware of the protocols of UEFA in the time but supports them.
As a participant, with the situation occurring in Montenegro, I do not think as a group we were very prepared and had understood that there was a protocol set up, he explained.
We had a meeting as a band, Gareth sat down and clarified UEFAs protocols.
Now as players we must provide UEFA a chance to take that character on board and handle the circumstance. Now in time, I have full faith in UEFA.
For expressing their concerns over racism from the build-up to the match Borislav Mihaylov, the FA president, has criticised England and Southgate says he understands their frustrations.
I could totally understand the Bulgarian president would feel as he does since we have only been responding honestly to questions we have been asked, said Southgate.
Thatll then be relayed, but it might be relayed, in Bulgaria and the way thats pitched could appear provocative or seem that we are the people that are placing the subject on the table.
When I had been him and just reading these quotes rather than knowing the context of why those things were mentioned and the answers were stated, then I would feel likely as he can.
We are not attempting to make a scenario at all, far from it, were all hoping that over the next 72 hours were just speaking about two soccer games. Both nations have a powerful desire for it.
