Roy Keane says England are not learning from mistakes

Roy Keane claimed England are not learning from their errors following their 2-1 defeat at the Czech Republic put Euro 2020 qualification on hold.
The 3 Lions fell to their qualifying defeat since debutant Zdenek Ondrasek procured the Czechs a win against Gareth Southgate side in a decade.
Victory in Prague could have ensured advancement with three to the next summers tournament – but Keane felt England werent up from the first minute to the task.
I really dont think England appeared right from the beginning of the match, the Sky Sports pundit mentioned on ITV. They did not look sharp, lots of bickering going on towards the ending, which is fine since they are upset.
To me, there was practically a lot of arrogance from England.
Anticipated anything besides an away win awarded the 5-0 shellacking handed out in Wembley at the Group A opener of March to the Czechs in Wembley.
Expectation climbed for Jakub Brabec, only with Harry Kanes ancient spot-kick to deliver the Republic degree and give the platform for replacement Ondrasek to penalize a England performance and seal a shock 2-1 triumph.
Brabecs immediate equaliser means that 36 per cent have come from set pieces.
Keane added:Its surely a huge problem, and Gareth, with been a centre-half, will most likely be having sleepless nights per little.
Sometimes youve got to lose to win, as long as youre studying your lessons. However, what Ive seen from this group during the last calendar year, and theres no need to fear, but they dont appear to be hearing from those errors that were sloppy. Against a team, youll suffer for it.
The result ended a 43-match unbeaten streak and World Cup qualifying matches stretching back into a loss in Ukraine in October 2009 – and was a result the men of Southgate could argue with.
After Kane started the scoring in the next second, Jordan Pickford could have a much busier night in Prague than he will have expected and had been beaten five minutes from time by debutant Ondrasek – a gut punch that wont violate Euro 2020 qualification but raises big questions.
Keane said:Theres no need to panic. Gareths record was outstanding. But my issue for all these players, is that I believe sometimes these players do not learn. You cant keep waiting for these lads.
Danny Rose gave a performance tonight, my goodness, somebody has got to contact that guy. Shocking. I think hell be the same in another three or four years, a few players dont learn from their mistakes, and youll suffer for this.
When asked if this result was a reality test, Southgate said:Yes I believe so.
We are always quite sensible about where we sit. We have an exciting group that usually look like scoring goals. We all know theres a very long way for individuals. Weve got to respond to that performance on Monday and take some criticism that comes our way.
Tonight we did not have enough to win the match, he further added.
Our performance wasnt great enough, simple as that. In the end the goal we conceded was average of their chances we gave away during the night, although we probably shouldve a draw out of it.
There are things we all can look back on, but collectively we must accept that there were not enough excellent performances.
I thought we started the second half a lot better, [were ] a lot more of a risk. We had chances, great chances to win the match. But we surrendered too many bad chances and we gave the ball away too many times.
The consequence in Prague certainly offers cause for concern, although england head on Monday after this fact check to Bulgaria.
The Czech Republic had 17 shots in this match, the England have confronted because March 2013, when Montenegro had 19 in a World Cup qualifier in a match.
We went 1-0 up via a punishment and just gave them too many chances, Kieran Trippier told Sky Sports.
They gained a lot of minute chunks and had a whole lot of possession. We recognize that we are able to play so much better. We didnt pass it wel and didnt keep the ball.
It is great that theres a match coming up on Monday as it gives us a opportunity to set things right.
England now go to Bulgaria in Sofia on Monday night at 7.45pm, which you can follow on along with the Sky Sports app, while Czech Republic sponsor Northern Ireland in a friendly on Monday at 6pm, live on Sky Sports Football and Main Event.
